Privacy Policy

RewardNest is a family task and rewards application. This Privacy Policy explains what information RewardNest processes, why it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information we process
- Parent account information: email address and authentication information used to sign in.
- Family information: family name, child display names, emoji avatars, family roles, and family membership information.
- App activity: tasks, task status, approvals, point balances, reward redemptions, reward inventory, reward-use requests, and related history.
- Technical information: identifiers and records necessary to authenticate users, connect family members, synchronize devices, and operate cloud features.
How information is used
- To provide account authentication and family setup.
- To synchronize tasks, approvals, points, rewards, and family data across connected devices.
- To maintain reward and points history.
- To provide core RewardNest functionality and security.
Children's information
RewardNest is designed to be configured and supervised by a parent or guardian. Child profiles are created or connected within a family account. RewardNest does not require a child to provide an email address for normal child-profile use.
Third-party services
RewardNest uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, to provide authentication and cloud synchronization. Information processed through these services is subject to Google's applicable privacy and security practices.
Tracking, advertising, and sale of data
RewardNest does not use third-party advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use personal information for cross-app advertising tracking.
Photos, location, and contacts
RewardNest does not require access to a user's photo library, precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera for its core family task and reward functionality.
Data retention
Information is retained as needed to provide the RewardNest service and maintain family task, points, and reward history. Shared family records may remain available to other connected family members when appropriate for continuity of the family account.
Account deletion
Parents can request permanent account deletion directly in the app from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion removes the signed-in authentication account and associated user profile. Shared family records may remain where necessary for other connected family members.
Security
RewardNest uses encrypted HTTPS connections for communication with cloud services and relies on authentication and database access controls to protect family information.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as RewardNest evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
